Paper Work
Because of the intense traffic and the long distances between places in
Los Angeles, we are pushed to find ways to use that time at our advantage.
In this installation, the car becomes a mobile office. A cell phone, a laptop
and other office equipments allows the contemporary business people to
save time and be more productive. By reorganizing the office space instead
or reorganizing the office schedules, corporate people might have the feeling
they are more productive.

Throughout the day, in the office-car, a lot of paper work will be achieved, which
will consist of building paper boats out of standard US letter sheets. It is a symbol
of the non-sense work lots of employee get done in most offices, while talking
about the day they will go somewhere else, somewhere far, to some paradise
island. The boats symbolize that dream, even though the car could already take
them somewhere else.

By the end of the day, the car should be filled with paper boats, and would come
back to its starting point, as a representation of a typical office day... that took
the business people virtually (only) around the world.

Every now and then, soap bubbles will come out of the car, raise in the air
and vanish... like many crystal dreams unachieved.
