The Banham Affect

Re-creationism: you take one person's idea, and another's car (both are
vehicles) and use them for your own end. Or beginning maybe. Following
the drive architectural historian Reyner Banham took in Los Angeles in
1972 ("Reyner Banham Loves Los Angeles"), my drive-by appropriation is
not just an exploration of the city, but a contemporary testing of the
waters of an architectural concept, and context.
